Hello! 歡迎來到我的部落格，今天我想和大家分享自己得到Fulbright獎學金的經驗分享。

剛好近期在填問卷，對，沒錯，拿到獎學金以後，實際到了美國當地，還是必須得寫報告和填資料等等！不過我很享受寫報告的過程，因為你會反思這幾個月的經過及成長，同時檢討自己。我們必須要定期的跟The Institute of International Education（IIE）回報教學近況，以及自身背景跟美國這邊的教學環境。

我來自台北，包含新北市的話有七百多萬人口，是個大都會城市。但今天，我被分到的學校位於華盛頓州的塔科馬，是個僅僅只有二十多萬人口的城市，但美國人算它為大城市，從台北來的我並不是這麼想的哈哈哈！這裡地廣人稀，大家的房子也是分得很開，像郊區一樣。

主要我在此的身份是Teaching Assistant，主治老師是中國人。所以在教學的過程中，我負責批改學生的作業和考試，計算學生成績，以及不時的幫助主治老師。

在這之前，我有將近兩年的教學經驗，不過不是正式的華語教師。我在東海大學參加了華語中心第一屆辦的線上華語教學計畫，在那一年和華語中心厲害的華語老師學習教學技巧。從基本的編寫教材，到線上教學平台操作，還有與其他華語老師合作，給予在華語中心的外國學生額外的補充課程。

Due to the pandemic, everything was not that perfectly went through. But I had imagined the worse situation. I understand some policies are not assured but that's not anyone's problem. I don't actually have anything to complain, because the whole process was quite fluent and smooth. I'm quite surprised about the efficiency of the host institution and the advisor. Every time when I had a question or problem, they respond to me super quickly. Much appreciated!

I'm very satisfied with every entitles. Maybe I don't quite know who to seek help from since I was not that sure about each entitle's duties. Sometimes, I might make the requests to the wrong people. I suppose that is my problem! Anyhow, in general, I have no complaints! Each staff had done an amazing job to assist and arrange things. Thank you so much!!

During this Fulbright program, personally, I hope I could learn a lot of professional teaching skills from the instructor and other professors. Also, I would like to train my personal calligraphy skill and might be a useful skill in the future. Since my Chinese instructor knows how to do traditional Chinese paper-cut, she could make lots of deep connections with people all over the world. She has become a model for me!
